For as long as I’ve been writing about jazz, I’ve been hearing about The BIMHUIS, one of Europe’s leading jazz venues, and a crown jewel of the arts scene in Amsterdam. This year marks its 45th anniversary, and I’m so proud to say that I’ll be a part of the fall schedule.

The lecture has been organized in collaboration with the John Adams Institute and the Netherlands American Studies Association. Needless to say, I’m excited to bring Playing Changes to Amsterdam!
