The Mondriaan Jazz Festival is an avowedly forward-looking jazz fest in The Hague, Netherlands, now in just its third year. I’m proud to be a part of the 2019 lineup, alongside acts including the Miguel Zenón Quartet, Camila Meza and the Nectar Orchestra, and UK artists like Phronesis and SEED Ensemble.
I’ll be moderating two panels, covering two wildly different subject areas. The first is yet to be determined (more information soon!), while the second will address Contemporary and Modern Latin America, with Zenón, Meza and pianist-composer Fabian Almazan.
Can’t wait to take part in this fest!
